The GSMF series from RETI is based on PGDT (Phase Gas Discharge Tube) technology and includes integrated overcurrent protection. The products ensure safe disconnection in the event of overheating or residual currents in networks from 300 A up to 100,000 A. In networks with high prospective currents, SPDs with integrated fuses offer improved protection against overcurrent due to the coordinated tripping characteristics of the thermal cut-off device and the integrated fuse.
