One device 2 protection levels The great advantage of the combined arrester is that lightning equipotential bonding and terminal device protection are provided in one device in one protection level. They are suitable for discharging high partial lightning currents and limiting transient overvoltages. The combined arresters have an energetically coordinated protective effect to the equipment within a 10 m cable path. If this is exceeded, further protective measures should be taken. Dangerous sparking and transient overvoltages in the electrical system are prevented, thereby avoiding major damage to property. Combined arresters T1-T2 are type 1 and type 2 protective devices tested in accordance with the test standard DIN EN 61643-11 (VDE 0675 Part 6-11). Their task is to control high energies, safely divert lightning currents and limit dangerous transient overvoltages to a level that is compatible with the equipment. In addition, type 1 or combi T1 & T2 surge arresters are also suitable for external lightning protection systems. (External lightning protection)

Attention Does not fit on every appliance rail!!! Not compatible with 12611, 12612, 12613

max. back-up fuse up to 315A, with remote signalling contact IEC/EN type 1+2+3 Area of application: Main distribution board Iimp=25 kA (10/350 µs) per pole High-performance GSG / MOV Leakage and operating current free Residual current-free Maintenance-free Conformity: EN 61643-11: 2012, IEC 61643-11: 2011, VDN directive SPD hybrid model based on combined GSG and MOV technology For use in lightning protection classes III + IV High discharge capacity up to 25kA 10/350 µs per pole Fast response time < 25 ns with simultaneously low residual voltage Maximum safety, disconnecting device activated under zero voltage Energy-efficient, no mains follow current, operating current or leakage current Complies with the VDN directive with VDE certification for use in the pre-metering sector

Special performance features: o Phase-GDT voltage switching technology o Integrated backup fuse o Leakage current-free product for installation in the pre-metering area o Shorter connection cables - low protection level o Less space required, lower costs, less wiring and less complexity o Reliable disconnection device o Visualisation of the device status, also possible remotely The GSMF series from RETI is based on PGDT (Phase Gas Discharge Tube) technology and includes integrated overcurrent protection. The products ensure safe disconnection in the event of overheating or residual currents in networks from 300 A up to 100,000 A. In networks with high prospective currents, SPDs with integrated fuses offer improved protection against overcurrent due to the coordinated tripping characteristics of the thermal cut-off device and the integrated fuse.
